His accomplishments as a sire are impressive. Hisho is owned by Cindy Carlson (that's me!) and Teri Arndt. He is everything we could have wished for in an Akita-and so much more. His character exemplifies the name...Akita Inu. If able to qualify for a Hisho puppy one would be considered most fortunate.
As all of our dogs, Hisho is bred very sparingly and reservations are highly recommended. Hisho's next litter will be with Hanko's All Lined Up for a litter of brindles and clean, pure whites. Puppies planned for spring/summer 2002. We anticipate outstanding movement and extreme oriental type on this 7/8th import litter. |
Hisho
is a great dog. He arrived from Japan having won Best of Breed and Best of Breed
in an Akita Specialty Show. Hisho is also an Akiho Gold Award winner in Japan
among the heaviest of competition in the country of origin.
As
you can see from the grand dam, shown at left, He comes from a long line of
beautiful dogs. Imagine our disappointment at being unable to exhibit this
marvelous dog here in the U. S. Due to a badly broken front leg he is not able
to gait as he did before the break. Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing
great things in the AKC ring from his puppies. Watch for his son, HANKO HISHO
